Dixon Development capitalized on a difficult grade to create a multi-level restaurant, bar and office, capturing the city skyline view. Researching Napa Valley for a unique design inspiration, the result is an award-winning development that captured one of the top chef-owner restaurants in the nation.
High on a hill above the Milwaukee River, one of Milwaukee's newest and most dramatic restaurants glimmers in the night. Roots is the first fine restaurant to sprout up in the newly gentrified neighborhood known as Brewers Hill. The restaurant has distinguished itself visually. Housed in a striking two-story building (the restaurant occupies the main and lower floors), Roots' interior is warmed with expanses of warm-toned wood and glass windows that offer diners one of the best views of Milwaukee. Once the sun sets, the city fades into a sea of lights that spreads all the way to Lake Michigan.
